Margot Bowman directs a stunning performance promo for Charlotte Dos Santos.

The enchanting music video for Patience features Dos Santos surrounded by Sakura blossoms, evoking a love story which is imbued with themes of self-love and care.

In this set-up, she is an exhibit in a museum that has come to life. And she also plays a visitor, inspired by the woman and the cherry tree artwork, to add to the performance.

Like Bowman's previous video for Dos Santos, the steamy Away From You, this is a beautifully crafted video. It's enhanced by the rich, textural colour palette and mesmerising styling, and the singer's dual performance is gentle and assured in equal measure.

“This is a song about how love and time interact, which raised all sorts of questions about how our understanding of history impacts our identity and self-worth.

"For the video, we wanted to challenge the institution of the museum and create an environment where a new kind of history could be recorded, where Charlotte's own, unique experience could be archived.

"I love collaborating with her and the richness of the world we get to create.”
