Gretel Hänlyn explores an abstract dreamworld in her debut promo, directed by Jasper Cable-Alexander.
Shot on 16mm with anamorphic lenses, the video is formed of several conceptual vignettes, portraying Hänlyn in her house, accompanied by snakes, surreal CCTV and an overwhelming sense of angst.
The aesthetic oscillates between heightened reality and experimental Pinterest board, and it's a brilliant introduction to the new artist.
