Lisa Clarkson directs a nostalgic seaside promo for Miles Kane featuring Corinne Bailey Rae. 

Filmed in Walton-on-the-Naze in Essex, the video is split between a heartwarming performance section and a breezy narrative, starring two mini-doppelgängers of the artists. 

In under three minutes, Clarkson creates a fusion of performance, dance and storytelling, with a playful concept that captures the youthful innocence of seaside holidays as a kid – and the first signs of young love. 

The beach and arcade backdrops feel distinctly British in their presentation: no-frills fun and very much unpolished. But this elevates the authenticity of the concept, and will no doubt bring back memories for many viewers.
