Michael Aldag 'Okay' by Caroline Hajny
Rob Ulitski - 27th Oct 2022
Caroline Hajny continues Michael Aldag's story from the recent video for Bleak, in this poignant promo for Okay.Â
Picking up directly from the end of the first concept - which sees Aldag jump into a swimming pool fully dressed - we see the artist emerge with a new lease on life.Â
Aldag runs through the city, drying off as he heads somewhere unknown, and the aesthetic becomes more vibrant and lively, cutting between the past and present videos to show the contrast.Â
Completing the emotional arc of the story, and offering a brilliant rooftop performance at the end, it's a remarkable piece of work that stands on its own and as part of a whole.Â
