Master Peace 'Veronica' by Luis Hindman
Rob Ulitski - 12th Jan 2023
Luis Hindman directs a kaleidoscopic promo for Master Peace, the second of three videos he's directed for the South London musician.Â
The frenetic, colour-soaked video for Veronica sees the artist take an interest in the song's namesake, spotting her at a club before seeing spiralling into a Y2K-inspired fever dream.Â
The name Veronica starts to appear everywhere - on bottles, necklace pendants and even a pack of cigarettes - and before long, the whole room has warped into a series of fluid textures and uncanny forms.Â
Shot on 16mm, the video has a gritty yet vibrant aesthetic, with a truly trippy vibe throughout. A fine follow-up to the equally vibrant and energetic video Hindman directed for Country Life.Â
