No Rome navigates the human issues of a tech-driven downfall in Ben Brook's impressive take on a dystopian near-futureworld for Brother.

With a complex interaction between visuals, No Rome observes a society spiralling out of control on screens, from the relative safety of his underground bunker - a refuge from the world outside, but also a prison.

With cinematography by Stephen Dunn, art department from Set Sisters, and a full-bodied grade by Connor Coolbear at ETC, Brooks brings all the elements together - Rome's performance, archive and AI visuals, and screen playbacks - into a really effective, punchy commentary on faith, technology, surveillance and human nature.
