London-based directing duo 3-SIX direct a heart-rending promo for Jasmine Jethwa.
The video for Dream Of Running sees Jethwa and her love interest on a road trip across the UK, stopping off at different locations but ultimately with no clear destination in sight.Â
It's a brilliant metaphor, and Jethwa's pensive performance in the car feels like the precursor to a breakup, stirring and intimately revealing. Â
Mixing cinematic performance shots with nostalgic, reminiscent VHS footage helps the video achieve the complex, affecting emotions the concept calls for, and the artist's performance seamlessly binds the vignettes together.Â
