Jim Longden directs his first music video since signing to Prettybird UK for Jaxxon D Silva, featuring the artist playing an imprisoned character in a brick-lined cell, talking to his alter ego, and then assuming numerous more intriguing personalities.

Surreal and eccentric in its concept, the visual for Crack In The Mask features a frantic blend of hypnotic characters and vignettes, in a clash of music video and horror film aesthetics.

"This was my second time directing Jaxxon on screen," explains Longden. "Similar to the first time last year in Don't Look At Me, it was a bizarre, peculiar and outlandish experience. But we managed to get it done due to the two of us being strict, quick and having rehearsed and argued our thoughts for a few days before the shoot.

"Having the test of creating a film or video in just one room is a test I had always wanted to face. I am pleased with the outcome, and my respect for filmmakers like Sidney Lumet, which has already very high, has grown even more."
