Rapper NOBAKINGSODA and his regular collaborator NEONXFLUORESCENT pay homage to old hip hop videos with On God.

The video - the third in a series following Air Fryer and Clockers - features a lively performance outside an off-licence and boasts a dazzling colour palette and dreamy aesthetic. 

"This video is a culmination of several rap videos NOBAKINGSODA and I saw in our younger years," says NEONXFLUORESCENT. "He was excited by the idea when I pitched it, but I let him know I'd be adding other elements and have the colours reflect a Britishness I see in my head, the era of the video nasty.

"The video came out as my Frankenstein's monster of different things sewn together. I won't say what is what, but there are several references from my favourite films in there as well as the work of a contemporary Polish artist who I really like, all lovingly stitched together by the Kiss to my Neon, Sam Bassett."
