London-based Swiss-Indian artist BombayMami's expresses the evolution from innocence into self-assured womanhood in a visual realised in two distinct chapters, directed by two directors: Aron Randhawa and Filip Plaskowski.
The video for Grown is a transformation piece, and the two chapters - the first directed by Plaskowski, the second by Randhawa - each reflect a different stage of this journey and the power of female energy.
Separated by two years of production and realised with two different creative teams, both parts remain unified through this consistent core concept and a natural, cohesive colour palette.
Grown was one of the earliest songs completed for BombayMami’s debut album Peaceful Attitude (released in April), blending Indian and Western cultural influences, expressed through a vibrant yet emotionally grounded visual language.
