Tul8te, Saint Levant 'Nano' by Reem Eid

Promonews - 3rd June 2026
Reem Eid directs a splendid pastel-hued and retro-styled video for the collaboration between masked Egyptian pop star Tul8te and Palestinian singer-rapper Saint Levant.
From its vintage American cars to it's nostalgic production design to it's stunning locations, Reem creates an impressively mounted candy-coloured world for Nano, a song described as Tul8te's love letter to childhood imagination and pop-star obsession.
The director establishes the world by transforming Tul8te and Saint Levant into collectible action figures living inside a handcrafted miniature universe. Set somewhere between a dollhouse, a toy store, and a half-remembered childhood fantasy, the video presents a place where celebrities are packaged, displayed, bought, and dreamed into existence.
The aesthetic is drawn from Alexandria in Egypt in the 1980s as well as mid-20th century Americana. The project blends practical miniatures, oversized props, and playful production design to create a universe that feels both familiar and surreal.
Ultimately Reem Eid and team do a great job in executing it's objective - celebrating the way imagination can turn ordinary objects into entire worlds and pop stars into larger-than-life characters.
