Troy Roscoe reunites with social media superstar and rapper KSI for another eye-popping visual blockbuster. And this one might be the biggest of the lot.The video for Catch Me If You Can is a sci-fi spectacular, with KSI materialising in a future city of floating supercars, dicing with a rival driver, playing basketball with a fireball of Earth, arriving on a rooftop to orchestrate a windstorm of cash through the skyscrapers.&nbsp;It's a perfect blend of hyperreal VFX and explosive action&nbsp;with KSI's unassailable charisma, and a blockbuster from start to finish.&nbsp;"Maybe my favourite video to date," says Troy.&nbsp;"It’s rare I get the chance to go all-in on green screen and trust entirely in visual effects - but this one was that dream scenario. With my background in VFX, opportunities like this are what I live for, and I got to pull out every trick in the book."KSI wanted something wild, something that matched the energy of the track - and that gave me the green light to build a world that leans into the lyrics but still feels surreal and unpredictable. We had just three weeks to deliver the full video with heavy VFX, and the team smashed it."Even the shoot day was intense - 12 hours, back-to-back setups, no room for mistakes. Troy Roscoe takes Nigerian singer BNXN on a fantasy journey through memorable moments with the girl of his dreams, in the video for Cutesy.From being wrapped in furs in a frozen forest to motorbiking through the desert, being caught in a lightning storm to having a luxury candlelit dinner, the pair find themselves&nbsp;in a series of romantic scenarios - and all made possible by shooting in a virtual production studio.&nbsp;Shot by DoP Rick Joaquim, Roscoe sets the scene with BNXN under treatment, having his thought patterns probed, which triggers his fantasies with his love interest - and they proceed to burn up the screen together in each distinctive scene."Cutesy was my first time stepping into the world of virtual production, and I’ll be honest, I didn’t fully know what to expect going in," reveals Roscoe. "But it blew me away. The experience opened up a whole new creative lane for me, and now I’m more excited than ever to explore what’s possible with this technology."For this video, I wanted everything to feel dreamlike - vivid, surreal, and full of colour - and I think we really nailed that. BNXN and the model had undeniable chemistry, both on-screen and on-set, and their energy brought the whole vision to life. Troy Roscoe directs a glossy slumber party for girlgroup FLO - with the trio hanging out in a bedroom, capturing their antics on a vintage camcorder.&nbsp;With plenty of creative flair - including mounting the camera to a ceiling fan - and some fun edit trickery, the video for Check is imbued with Roscoe's trademark visual style.&nbsp;"Working with FLO for the first time was an incredible experience," Roscoe explains. "It was also the girls' first time working with a male director, so I really wanted to make sure they had a positive and enjoyable experience. From the start, we were all on the same page and stayed that way throughout the project."It's been a while since I directed, edited, and did VFX on one of my videos, but for this one, I wanted to take the reins because the girls had a very specific style in mind. I love how the video turned out; the girls made my job easier as they're absolute superstars on and off camera. Stormzy celebrates his 30th birthday in style with #TheMikeGala, and uses the occasion as a the perfect opportunity for a music video.Enlisting Troy Roscoe to capture the visuals, the video for Angel In The Marble is an elegant 'who's who' of the British entertainment industry, intercutting glossy portraiture with heightened performance moments.&nbsp;Shot by&nbsp;Rick Joaquim, the contrast of fly-on-the-wall footage and glossy posed snapshots creates a concept that is both ambitious and luxurious - very fitting for one of the biggest artists in the industry right now.&nbsp;"What an absolute pleasure to have the pressure of delivering the most important birthday present of all for Stormzy’s 30th," Roscoe says.&nbsp;"Stormzy and team wanted the visual&nbsp;to be nothing short of clean, glossy and to scream elegance. As hard as it was to not include one bit of VFX, I’m so happy with the turn out."The visual is so different to anything I’ve done before as my style revolves heavily around surrealism and visual effects - but in this instance it pushed me to focus on simplicity and beauty, both on the day and in the edit. The night was hectic but exciting, meetings all of those guests and getting to share such a special occasion with Mike himself.&nbsp;"The grade and slow motion footage really tied everything together and gave it a unique look. With greyscale footage all being shot at a slow frame rate to provide the beauty, and the graded footage in the booth providing the contrast and personality."

Ryan Jafarzadeh directs an impressive one-take video for No Guidnce's Is It A Crime.&nbsp;Bringing back the nostalgia of 90's R&amp;B groups, the artists perform in an empty&nbsp;car park at night, each&nbsp;getting their own moment to shine in the spotlight.After gaining a following performing cover tracks in a car park, it's a natural progression and a sign of how far they've come, and given it's their debut music video, there is already a lot to be excited about.&nbsp;With some slick cinematography from Rick Joaquim to give it a high-end vibe, and tight direction from&nbsp;Jafarzadeh - who places the boys and their personalities front and centre - it's a great introduction and will no doubt make waves across both their existing fanbase and new fans to come.&nbsp;

The inspiration behind this was based on the thought process ‘what feels this good’ and my result was, carelessness. Not having a care in the world and being open to spontaneity and where it can take you, i.e a spinning wheel/fate deciding the outcome of your holiday!" he continues.&nbsp;The performances of both the cast and the artists exude these happy-go-lucky vibes, and with Muller and Baser along for the ride in Cape Town, and an equally as impressive vignette&nbsp;for Stefflon Don in a sea of colourful linen, it's a breathtaking video with gorgeous cinematography from Rick Joaquim, and a strong, on-brand concept from Roscoe.&nbsp;

Bullet For My Valentine face their demons in Harry Lindley's brooding promo for No More Tears To Cry.&nbsp;Following the tradition of iconic rock videos of the early Noughties, the video combines performance and an abstract narrative, which sees a man - played by&nbsp;Milo Max Burgess - haunted by twisted manifestations of dark memories, and features practical effects and CG animation, also directed by Lindley.&nbsp;Visually captivating, DoP Rick Joaquim's stirring cinematography blends frenetic camera movement with atmospheric lighting, creating an aesthetic that feels haunting yet full of raw energy.&nbsp;"For this video the band wanted to explore some of the demons that they’ve battled in their lives," says Harry Lindley. "Working closely with creative director Fiona Gardens and DOP Rick Joaquim, we developed a grungy, horror look inspired by Tim Burton and the Saw franchise. We found ways to illustrate their demons visually - for example we landed on a spider with syringes for legs to represent addiction."We combined practical effects and CGI to bring these creatures to life. We also reached out to Bullet’s very active fanbase to send us images that symbolise adversity that they’ve faced. These are cut into the video almost subliminally during the opening and closing sequences."

Clean Bandit's Jack Patterson collaborates with Eric Myers to direct the heartfelt video for Everything But You, in aid of the Campaign Against Living Miserably.The video boldly addresses the subject of depression and suicidal thoughts with a combination of grim, gritty realism and uplifting fantasy - and perhaps controversially depicts a scene of attempted suicide with has necessitated the video opening with a 'trigger warning'.At the heart of the video is a relationship story - and dance sequence -&nbsp;between the young man at the end of his tether, and the magical elf-like female alien who saves him. She shares the same appearance, and flying ability, as Clean Bandit's Jack and Grace, and vocalist A7s, in the Avatar-style performance set-up.[imgtoken data:1]Eric Myers is known for his work as a DoP, but in this case he hands over that role to Rick Joaquim, who excels in bringing two contrasting visual styles into one package.&nbsp;And ultimately the story delivers a strongly optimistic message, as explained by Clean Bandit in their support for CALM."The message of Everything But You is that there is always hope, always a reason for living.
